Mad King (AKA Jake Johanson) is an artist, designer, former gallery owner, former semi-pro welterweight party person and a maker of beautiful and clever things. Some of the notable music producers who own his original work include: Tipper, Proem, Miskate, Frivolous, {A}pendics Shuffle, Edit, Stephen Beaupre, The Brandon Brown, Brian Mayhall, Jantsen, Time for Trees, The Normal Ones, ((Diverse)), Equilli, Ten and Tracer, and Eric McIntyre.  He currently is living, dreaming, plotting and scheming in Boulder, CO.  If you find yourself in the neighborhood, feel free to come by for a studio visit. Vision Quest Brewery’s tap room resides next door, where his art is featured on their beer cans.
